Long-distance move from Manhattan, KS to Niceville, FL

DO NOT EVER USE THIS FRAUD COMPANY

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Sham company that brokerages out. They over promised and delivered absolutely nothing. They promised I'd have a 33' truck for my items as he quoted me at having over 2000 cu ft. They sent a 26' truck. They told me my stuff would be driven straight down, not moved trucks. Lies, it sat in KC and moved trucks at least once and was delivered by a different company entirely. They originally charged me for 2k cu ft, got them to come down to 1750, when that truck only holds 1664 AT BEST. They lost my check, he took a photo, i have to put a stop payment. They messed up the second check at the ATM and won't call the bank or wait for their ATM to fix it and it's MY FAULT and they demand I ZELLE them money (SCAM!!!). I put a stop payment on my second check again another fee incured by me. I have to scramble to find another truck to drive the rest of my stuff down causing me unneeded stress that a moving company was supposed to fix for me. They charged me $75 for "packing materials" to pack my glass hutch....they took MY BOX from the garage and used it and used all the same stuff for the furniture. There was no special packaging material. WHAT BS COMPANY!! DO NOT USE EVER!!! BEWARE AT ALL COSTS THIS SHAM/FRAUD COMPANY!!

Long-distance move from Kremmling, CO to Lake Nebagamon, WI

WORST experience EVER! Do NOT trust these liars!!!

This company operates on the quintessential definition of bait and switch. They gave me a quote for $7K, which I knew could go up. They then raised it to $9K, which was fine, and loaded all my furniture (breaking and damaging a significant portion of my items). Upon arrival, they refused to unload my property unless I paid them a total of $22K **IN CASH**!!! They literally held my furniture and clothing hostage and I felt stuck and helpless. I asked to speak with supervisors but they declined and just hung up on me, telling me to pay the ransom or lose my entire household of property. I understand the moving is not an exact science, but it is beyond disingenuous to quote 1/3 of what the final cost is, especially when I had an employee walk through my home and measure all the items and told me it would only be $9K after the phone estimate of $7K. If they had told me, I would not have used this company, which they know, hence the lie. It is immoral, unethical, and should be illegal to take advantage of customers this way. This was absolutely a bait-and-switch scheme and they charged my entire life savings as ransom. I need to be made whole, especially with the amount of damage, and I am seeking a refund of half of what I paid, which I feel is still MORE than fair, given they told me it would be $9K after doing a full inperson assessment and that it will cost me thousands to replace or repair what they damaged with neglect and carelessness. Additionally, they lied about it being employees moving me; the crew was hired off Craigslist with zero experience and it absolutely shows. Promising services and prices that were then rescinded are fraud. If needed I have the estimate I signed in person as well as photos of damaged items.

Local move from Loveland, CO to Broomfield, CO

The Worst. We have lost it All

I secured a binding estimate from a Bentley Moving and Storage for $2820 and paid $686 down payment, When the movers arrived they went thru the house and gasped and performed beautifully the “bait and switch” saying there was a lot more here than was on the estimate. Not true. I listed every single item down to the number of boxes. They also explained that my boxes were "not packed right" and they need to repack them in their expensive boxes. I have packed and moved so many times I lost count. I can pack. We were not moving to China...just from Loveland, CO to Broomfield, CO, around 50 miles I broke down. I was caught in a position that I could not change. They already were a day late and the landlord was anxious to get the house back. I had no choice but to tell them to go ahead and load our belongings on their truck. Over and over they asked if this was going or is that going. I explained countless times that we were moving out…everything must go. They packed 2/3 of our household and the truck was full...not surprising the way they packed it. After much "discussion," they came back the next day and loaded up as much as they thought they should and made me pay $1050 for the privilege of using them. After they left we had to hire U-Haul and a couple of guys to load up what the movers did not. The small U-Haul was full. On Nov 4 they brought our household out to the apartment. The movers now decided that we owed them double what they quoted in the binding quote and they wanted cash. They took our items all back because I couldn't get the amount of cash they wanted on the spur of the moment. I had $500 in cash which is what I felt we owed them. Even calling in the police didn't work. Then another $1200 was charged on top before they would deliver again. It had to be paid in cash before they would leave the storage unit. They don't take a credit card, a check, or anything but cash. To date we have paid them $2836. But we finally settled that we would pay them another $1000 and they would deliver. The day before the delivery they changed the rules again. Now they want the $1000 plus $1200 extra. Meanwhile, we have been in an empty apartment for 3 months. We have our mattress but it is on the floor. This is especially difficult for hubby as his back is incredibly bad. We are an elderly couple on Social Security and whatever I earn in my small sewing business. However, I can’t even do that as they have most all of my supplies and machines. They gave me 1 machine out of the 4 and 3 boxes at the insistence of the Broomfield police who were here. We retained Craig D. Flinders,Flinders Law, LLC, Telephone: (720) 279-5422, but he could do nothing. He did send them 2 warning letters and called them multiple times with no response. There is no physical address for these people. Just the apartment of the owner, Cecil Rodriguez Nunoz at 425 Helena St in Aurora. We understand they are your client.

We are in our late 70’s and my husband has Alzheimer’s. They have everything we own with the exception of a very few things.

Not only do they have our sentimental items but our necessities as well. We can never make enough money at this point in our lives to replace them.

P.S. We now have a bed donated by some wonderful people.
